She was resident teacher of Belly dance at the Watermans Arts Centre in West London until 2007, during which time she also produced two sell out theatre shows with her husband, Ty. Both provided a vehicle for her students to perform alongside established dancers. Some of her students have since gone on to teach or perform professionally themselves.
Ljiljana has taught at top health clubs, Amida, The Hogarth, Cedars on Richmond Hill etc, Ealing Film Studios as well as run workshops for numerous establishments including the MOD. Her work has taken her into the community to help disadvantaged groups benefit from the inherent magic and empowering aspects of the various dance forms.
Her classes are taught to women of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.
Since 2007, Ljiljana has devoted herself to the study of Qigong under Sifu Bee Loh and intensive Yoga practise, both disciplines enhancing and working in synthesis with the health giving aspects of dance.
Having performed for many years, Ljiljana still performs occasionally by invitation at selected events, her most recent being a top billing at London's renowned 'Planet Egypt' showcase.
Her main focus nowadays is to teach and share the wonderful benefits of dance with others in a fun and mutually supportive environment.
